Small Photoblinking Semiconductor Polymer Dots for Fluorescence Nanoscopy

Feb. 17, 2017

Dr. Yujie Sun published a paper on Advanced Materials with his collaborators.

Two types of small photoblinking semiconductor polymer dots (Pdots) with high brightness, strong photostability, and favorable biocompatibility are designed, by C. Wu, Y. Sun, and co-workers as described in article 1604850. Super-resolution optical fluctuation imaging is achieved using these superior small Pdots. Imaging of subcellular structures demonstrates that these small photoblinking Pdots are outstanding probes for fast, long-term, super-resolution fluorescence imaging.
