The 33rd Peking University “Challenge Cup” Lecture of the School of Life Sciences in the Golden Light Building was organized by the Science and Innovation Department of the Youth League Committee of the School of Life Sciences, achieving great success. Ms. Yongmei Qin, the Director of the Academic Advancement Center of the School, Mr. Long Hong, a teacher from the School, and Qino Wang, a representative of a previous award-winning team, were invited to be present. The seminar was hosted by Mr. Tianxing Wang.

The "Challenge Cup" series at PKU encompasses three competitions. The May 4th Youth Science Award is a long-standing competition with a large number of participants and a cooperative mechanism related to research projects. The Interdisciplinary Students' Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition encourages research in a team setting, making full use of the university's advantages and conforming to its educational objectives. The Special Contribution Award centers on providing practical solutions to address social development issues.
